Smudge it. Warp it. Detonate your design.
The Inkblaster Pack is your all-access pass to graphic destruction. Designed for creatives who’d rather rip than polish, this toolkit arms you with the textures, displacements, and layered chaos to glitch your logos, type, and design work into beautifully corrupted art.
This drop includes:
- 💥 5 Quick Mode Displacement Maps – PSD distortions, ready to plug straight into Photoshop. Each one offers a different flavor of blast. Drop them on your text, invert if needed (⌘ + I is your best friend), and go.
- 🧠 Advanced Mode PSD – A fully layered Advanced Mode Photoshop file with a Smart Object for easy text swaps. Comes loaded with toggleable effects and textures for granular control. Drop in your logo or text, save, and boom.
- 🗞️ 3 Bonus Paper Textures – Crushed, scanned, and handed to you at 1800x1800px, 72 DPI. Use them as gritty backdrops or to texture your inkblasted creations.
- 🗂️ How-To Guides (Quick + Advanced) – Clear, visual instructions for both workflows, plus pro tips for cleaner blasts and deeper glitches.
NOTE: If your result looks too clean or fully filled in, try inverting your layer with ⌘ + I before blasting again. This pack loves minimal logos, stripped type, and simple marks. The more iconic the base, the gnarlier the destruction.
Part of the /payloads/ series—crafted for digital saboteurs, brand benders, and creative vandals everywhere and created by secret-cache — a digital ghost engineer and frequent contributor to the vandal_ blacksite.
⚙️ HOW TO USE
Quick Mode:
- Type out your text in Photoshop.
- With the text layer selected, go to Filter > Distort > Displace. Start with 10/10 values, adjust as needed.
- Click OK, then choose one of the 5 included displacement maps from the "Quick Mode Displacement Maps" folder.
- If the result looks like a solid blob, try hitting ⌘ + I to invert your artwork before applying the filter again.
Advanced Mode:
- Open the Advanced Mode PSD.
- Double-click the Smart Object marked for text. Add your own. Save and return to the main file.
- Use the layer menu to toggle effects (blue layers = active) and open folders to enable textures.
- Turn off the "Background Color Editor" and "Textures" groups if you want transparency.

What is vandal_?
A creative marketplace for the misfit class. We curate tools, gear, assets, fonts, streetwear and digital weapons for people rewriting the rules. No fluff. No permission. All signal.
What kind of stuff do you sell?
Display fonts. Glitch textures. Gradient payloads. Tools that hit. Hoodies, Zines, essays, assets, shirts that don’t ask. Everything is made by or curated by creators who choose to live outside the algorithm.
Is vandal_ royalty-free?
Yup. Buy it once. Use it in your work—client or personal. Don’t resell it or pretend you made it. That's the only rule.
How can I join the marketplace?
If you make dope, useful, weird, disruptive creative stuff—we want to see it. Drop us a line. We’re building this together.
Why does vandal_ feel different?
Because it is. This isn’t just commerce—it’s community, rebellion, and real creativity, all wrapped in downloadable, readable and wearable form.
